As a result of our dedication to the community, organizational sustainability, and programmatic strength, NHS OC has received numerous awards at local, state, and national levels. NeighborWorks America (NW), a well respected public non-profit, has ranked NHS OC as an “exemplary” member of the NeighborWorks Network. In addition, NHS OC was recently recognized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for being the first recipient of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant to spend 50% of funds and meet expenditure requirements. Yet, these are merely a few examples of NHS OC’s success.
